Come join the fun at the NREA Youth Energy Camp, July 21-25, 2025 at Camp Comeca in Cozad, Nebraska. Please accept this invitation from Midwest Electric and NREA to attend this exciting and educational summer event for the youth in grades 9-11. 
     A tour of the Gerald Gentleman Power Station and the Kingsley Hydro-Electric Power Plant provide for a first hand look at the process of generating electricity. To be eligible for camp you must currently be in the 9th, 10th or 11th grade and be sponsored by Midwest Electric. 
     Three campers will be selected to serve as Nebraska’s Ambassadors to the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s Rural Electric Youth Tour in Washington, D.C.  For more information contact Midwest Electric at (308) 352-4356  or go to our Additional Links page or click here for the application.
